My Punjab

My Punjab is most beautiful piece of land on the earth. My Punjab is small in size compared to rest of state of India yet remains in forefront on every front.

My Punjab has suffered a great deal of loss due to its aggressive and progressive nature in general. Sense of jealousy and hate of some states in past attempted to eclipse its beauty.

My Punjab never gave up regardless of the ruthless attitude of India towards it. It has strength of saints to remain calm and accept the consequences. It never complains for the unfairness attitude of central government.

My Punjab is very athletic and sporty by nature. It's diet is very rich in nutrients and vegetarian by nature. It also grow plenty of extra food to help the rest of India. My Punjab produces tonnes of wheat, rice, vegetables, fruits, poultry for its people.

My Punjab is so talented that it will take me long time to mention it's qualities and generous nature. My Punjab is strong technically, socially, politically, financially, literally and spiritually. It is progressive and always ready to change for good since ages.

My Punjab has very rich heritage. It is birth place of one of the old civilization of world. It has five rivers rich of sweet water that make it most fertile land on earth. Every inch of My Punjab is loaded with grains, grass, fruits, vegetables and trees.

My Punjab is very proud of itself. Because it gave birth to most modern and most adaptable school of thought, The Sikhism. In past, it gave birth to old school of Hinduism. All Vedas were authored in My Punjab.

The Holy Gita was authored by Lord Krishna during battle of Kurukshetra on the pious land of My Punjab. On this my holy land Lord Krishna protected the rights and honour of woman. My Punjab is also on forefront when it comes of rights of woman. The very unique and distinctive name KAUR was bestowed upon women to give her the own identity free of father's name and free of husband's name. Women rights are always the top priority of My Punjab.

RECENTLY, SIKH MOTORCYCLE CLUB OF BC IS IN LIMELIGHT AND AN OFFER BY BOLLYWOOD STAR SHAH RUKH KHAN TO SIKH MOTORCYCLE CLUB SEEMS UNREASONABLE AND INAPPROPRIATE. THE DECISION BY SIKH MOTORCYCLE CLUB TO DECLINE THE OFFER IS JUSTIFIED AND APPROPRIATE. ON THE OTHER HAND THE CLAIM BY SIKH MOTORCYCLE CLUB THAT IT IS DEDICATED TO SHRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB IS DEBATABLE AND NEED SERIOUS ATTENTION. I EXPRESSED MY VIEWS AND FEELING ON FACEBOOK AS FOLLOWS:

WELL SAID. BUT THE POSE DOES NOT EXEMPLIFY IT! I DO SEE SOME ARROGANCE IN THE PICTURE! STILL I HOPE THAT SIKH MOTORCYCLE CLUB MADE A RIGHT DECISION PROVIDED REQUEST WAS IMPROPER AND INAPPROPRIATE! SIKH MOTORCYCLE CLUB IS NOT A CLUB DEDICATED TO SHRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB IN TOTALITY! IS THAT IS THE CASE THEN ALL RIDERS MUST BE BAPTIZED ACCORDING TO SIKH REHAT MARYADA! SIKHISM DOES NOT PROHIBIT THE SIKHS FROM PROMOTING THE SOCIAL ASPECTS OF SIKHISM THROUGH MEDIA OR SOCIAL GATHERINGS (IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT I AGREE WITH INAPPROPRIATE REQUEST OF BOLLYWOOD ACTOR, SHAH RUKH KHAN). MOREOVER SIKH IS THE MOST HUMBLE AND POLITE ELEMENT OF PEACEFUL WORLD COMMUNITY AND YET POWERFUL LIKE STEAL! COURAGEOUS LIKE LION! WARRIOR LIKE BABA DEEP SINGH JI SHAHEED! SIKH MOTORCYCLE CLUB SHOULD GO OUT AND FIND OUT SOME WORTHY SHOW CAUSES TO HELP THE NEEDY POOR OF WORLD. CERTAINLY I DON'T LIKE THE POSES OF SOME MOTORCYCLISTS IN THIS PICTURE. MOREOVER SIKH MOTORCYCLE CLUB IS NOT SOLELY DEDICATED TO SHRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB BECAUSE I KNOW THERE ARE LOT OF MEMBERS IN THE CLUB THOSE ARE UNBAPTIZED AND EVEN SOME ARE COMMUNIST IN VIEWS WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN ANY RELIGION! SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU QUOTE SOMETHING IN CONTEXT OF SHRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB! I AM NOT SAYING THAT NON BAPTIZED SHOULD NOT BE MEMBER OF IT BUT I MEAN TO SAY IS, IT IS A GROUP OF MOTOR CYCLE RIDERS WHICH MAINLY REPRESENT MOTORCYCLISTS  WITH TURBANS ON HEAD NOT HELMET. BUT I DO NOT THINK ALL MOTORCYCLIST ARE SIKHS. SOME MAY BE NON-SIKHS LIKE HAR-KRISHAN SURJIT WHO WORE TURBAN AND HAD NO FAITH IN RELIGION. AND HE WAS MUCH BETTER THAN SOME OF MOTORCYCLISTS BECAUSE HE HAD UNSHORN BEARD ON HIS FACE. YET HE WAS NOT A SIKH BECAUSE HE BELIEVED IN NO RELIGION.

SO I AGREE IT WAS A LEGAL BATTLE BY SIKHS, WHICH WAS GENUINE AND IT WAS WON BY SIKHS. BUT COURT DECISION DID NOT SOLELY AWARDED JUSTICE TO SIKHS ONLY. IT WAS ACKNOWLEDGED AS A SOCIAL ISSUE BY THE LAW AND THOSE WHO WEAR AT LEAST 7.5 METER TURBAN CAN RIDE A MOTORCYCLE WITHOUT HELMET.

EVEN A HINDU OR MUSLIM OR ANYONE ELSE CAN WEAR TURBAN AND RIDE THE MOTORCYCLE, UNLESS IT IS INCORPORATED IN THE COURT VERDICT THAT ONLY SIKHS WITH 7.5 METER TURBAN CAN RIDE A MOTOR CYCLE WITHOUT HELMET.

OF COURSE! CREDIT GOES TO THOSE GURSIKHS WHO STARTED THIS LEGAL BATTLE WITH A GENUINE CAUSE AND WON IT.

HAD IT BEEN STARTED BY NON-GURSIKHS, THERE WERE A SLIM CHANCES TO EXEMPT THE HELMET FOR THOSE WHO WORE TURBANS AND MIGHT HAD REPRESENTED THEMSELVES AS SIKHS OR NON-SIKHS.

I MIGHT BE CONFUSING TO SOME OF THE READERS BUT ALL I AM SAYING THAT SIKHS HAVE EVERY REASON TO BE PROUD OF THEMSELVES AND THE BC LAW, BUT NO ONE SHOULD BRAG ABOUT IT AND USE THIS RIGHT VERY CAREFULLY, RESPECTFULLY AND HUMBLY. THIS PICTURE DOES NOT REFLECT HUMBLENESS AT THE VERY LEAST.

SOME PEOPLE RIDE THEIR MOTORCYCLE WITH SMALL TURBANS AND IT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED A SERIOUS OFFENSE NOT ONLY BY LAW AND ORDER BUT BY CONCERNED SIKHS. PEOPLE RIDING MOTORCYCLE WITH SMALL TURBAN MUST BE REPORTED TO POLICE IMMEDIATELY BECAUSE IT IS BREACH OF LAW AND MOCK OF SIKHISM BY THE OTHER COMMUNITIES.
